Importing to the UAE With TradeWise

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is the Gulf's main trade hub, and its offices and data centers need a steady flow of IT equipment. Importing to the UAE requires attested invoices, type approval for wireless gear, and a licensed importer before your goods land. Every shipment you import into the UAE is checked against these records. One missed step can lead to fines or delays. We act as your importer of record in the UAE and manage the filings for you.

Mandatory MoFAIC Invoice Attestation for UAE Imports

Every commercial invoice worth AED 10,000 or more needs attestation for mainland imports.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFAIC) attests commercial invoices online.

The fee is AED 150 per invoice, and the attestation number links to the customs declaration. Importers have 14 days after the declaration to complete it. Free zone imports and goods from GCC countries are exempt.
