Japan is one of the world's largest tech markets, and its enterprises and data centers need a steady flow of IT equipment. Importing to Japan needs radio certification for wireless gear, electrical safety marks for listed products and a local importer before your goods land. Every shipment you import into Japan is checked against these records. One missed step can lead to rejection. We act as your importer of record in Japan and manage the filings for you.

Every device with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or other radio functions needs the Giteki mark before it is used in Japan.
Under Japan's Radio Act, wireless equipment needs MIC technical conformity, also called Giteki.
Registered certification bodies test and certify each model, and the mark goes on the product. Using uncertified radio devices in Japan is illegal, so customs and buyers check for the mark.
